Hello! My name is Joanna Prior, born in 2003 in Hertfordshire. From a young age I developed a passion for photography beginning with a phone camera, all the way up to DLSR's and Film cameras. As of June 2024 I graduated from Middlesex University with a BA in Photography, I have spent my academic career exploring themes of femininity and body confidence. My work is not just about taking pictures, it's about capturing the essence of my clients’ personalities and telling their unique stories via their body language. This concept shows development and personalisation throughout, exploring every ounce of confidence, while dabbling into analogue experimentation. I have discovered a love for damaging the negatives through Lomography and creating a tarnished result. My hope is to further my experimentation and successful portray femininity and confidence throughout my photographic career.
